I have been searching for a product to both add shine and moisture to my thick course shoulder length hair...I think that I have FINALLY found what I am looking for! It is great for dry ends too! It has only been a couple days but already I am LOVING this product. Mind you I air dry my hair and do not add any heat products to it. Please do not change a thing! It smells good and works! My fear is that it will get discontinued for some reason...so I had to leave my review on this product and I ordered another 5 jars just in case! Love the fact that the shipping was free and that it was priced reasonably well and arrived sooner than expected! And it works wonderfully! I have tried many natural hair products that have just left my hair feeling dry and brittle...just can't get the moisture that I needed. Thank you, thank you, Carol's Daughter!!!!!

This product is now in my everyday regimen. Even though I don't need to, I use this with a leave in conditioner. This product leaves my hair moist and soft and with more curl definition. With natural hair you have to try products yourself to see if you'll have the same results as the next naturally curly girl. This product was well worth the money. This has a delicate scent to it. If you use another scented product it will not over power.I plan on buying more Carol's Daughter products thanks to the results of this one.

Background: I have been natural for about 3 years, and I have come across my fair share of products that do nothing or do very little. However, this product does A LOT of Good! I was wary of it because, I do suffer from allergies and I wasn't sure if the honey would trigger my allergies - but I'm alive and well - and this product works great on my hair.
How I apply: After washing my hair (4a/3c) I put in some of my favorite moisturizes and leave in conditioners and then finish by rubbing this product in my hand and then running my fingers and hands through my hair so that the product coats my entire head. I then do a braid-out. When I take my hair out - my hair still feels moisterized (not greasy); my hair is defined (which means that the 3c strands are more wavy, and the 4d strands are more coily).
I try not to get caught up in the hype of some of this natural products; but I really like the honey mimosa and I will certainly be ordering some more.
